PROTOMACHINES LAB operates as a virtual test environment for prototype machinic structures.
The environment contains abstract formations that behave as operational units within a simulated system.
Spatial organization follows a recursive scaling logic. Small units expand into large structural formations, while large formations compress back into smaller units without changing internal rules.
Scale is treated as a structural parameter rather than a visual property.
Within the system, curved and oblique constructions remain in continuous state of adjustment. Their geometry stabilizes through internal balancing processes.
Multiple units operate simultaneously, each executing a limited function such as repetition, distribution, feedback regulation or flow modulation.
No unit functions as representation. All units function as operational components.
The system maintains continuous structural activity across all scales.
