SYNTHSPA is an installation consisting of video environments, sound, sculptural structures, substrates and virtual spaces.
The work presents synthetic humanoid figures within bathing environments, reflective interiors and controlled sensory settings.
Bodies appear immersed in water, light, vegetation and cosmetic materials.
Actions unfold slowly throughout the installation.
A group of sculptural devices is distributed across the space.
These structures resemble therapeutic instruments, hydroponic systems, garden architectures and cosmetic equipment.
SUBSTRATE appears throughout the installation as liquid, vapor, reflective material and atmospheric condition.
It is derived from two floral extracts and a single amber extract.
The installation extends into virtual environments containing related spatial structures and ambient sound compositions.
