AVANTGARDEN 3.0: Guided Tour and Event at Match Gallery

Thank you everyone for last night. It was wonderful to spend time with such a thoughtful group of people during the guided tour of the exhibition. Your patience, curiosity, and the depth of the questions made the 45-minute conversation truly rewarding. I hope I managed to share at least a portion of the ideas behind the works on display, although this is always an ongoing process, there are always additional layers of research, sketches, diagrams, and references that reveal even more of the evolving ecosystem behind the AVANTGARDEN series of interconnected works.

The exhibition presents a selection of projects from my long-term research into synthetic environments, avatars, and speculative habitats. Across video works, digital sculptures, and immersive spatial compositions, these pieces explore how technological systems shape perception, identity, and collective experience. AVANTGARDEN imagines digital environments as living infrastructures,  spaces where avatars, hybrid entities, and evolving landscapes coexist within speculative ecological systems.

After the guided tour, the evening continued with an incredible event co-organized with the Zenith collective. Cosmic techno sets by Lucius Light, Waknu, and M62Hb transformed the gallery into a vibrant social space. This kind of activation expands a practice I have been developing for many years through ULTRAMONO AVANTGARDEN installations across various online social and VR environments. Bringing music, gatherings, and informal exploration of the exhibition into the same space continues my long-term interest in how art environments can function as places of communal experience.

Thank you again to everyone who came yesterday.

For those who missed it, the exhibition remains open until 15 March.
