This Sunday, Match Gallery will be open from 10:00 to 18:00 as part of the National Day of Culture.
AVANTGARDEN 3.0 unfolds as a composed ecology of distinct zones, spanning audiovisual works, digital and virtual worlds, printed images, and physical objects. The exhibition operates through parallel habitats, each offering a specific mode of encountering synthetic beings, avatars, and virtual ecologies.
Rather than forming a single immersive system, the exhibition invites movement between these zones at an individual pace, approaching fantasy, imagination, and imaginary habitats as historically vital cultural tools rather than escapist spaces.
I will be present in the gallery from 14:00 to 18:00 and available to talk about the exhibition and the works.

To nedeljo bo Galerija Vžigalica odprta od 10.00 do 18.00 v okviru kulturnega praznika.
AVANTGARDEN 3.0 se razpira kot premišljena ekologija razločnih con, ki povezujejo avdiovizualna dela, digitalne in virtualne svetove, tiskane podobe ter fizične objekte. Razstava deluje skozi vzporedne habitate, od katerih vsak ponuja specifičen način srečevanja s sintetičnimi bitji, avatarji in virtualnimi ekosistemi.
Namesto enotnega potopitvenega sistema razstava vabi k počasnemu prehajanju med posameznimi conami ter fantazijo, domišljijo in imaginarne habitate obravnava kot zgodovinsko pomembna kulturna orodja, ne kot oblike pobega.
V galeriji bom prisotna med 14.00 in 18.00 in na voljo za pogovor o razstavi in delih.

AvantGarden Biomes
Hello everyone 🌿
I’m very happy about a few things at the moment:
– the year is finally properly starting
– thank you all so much for the birthday wishes, I really appreciate them
– and I’m very excited about my latest project BIOMES, where I’m returning to exploring anthropomorphization within the ecologies of AVANTGARDEN
Drawing from the historical role of dolls as comforting, symbolic, and relational objects, BIOMES looks at toys, dolls, and avatars as contemporary companions — emotional interfaces embedded in virtual habitats, spaces for presence, care, and cohabitation.
This cluster of topics has been returning in my work since the early Supermono installations (some media art veterans might remember those groups of textile objects resembling plush creatures, reacting with sound and video to our presence). A lot has changed since then.
Being inspired by ecology, popular culture, and technological development, BIOMES inevitably reflects current phenomena — the culture of trinkets, surreal creatures, webcore, cutecore — all approached as sculptural forms and symbolic agents within synthetic environments.
I’m looking forward to sharing more soon and to exhibiting this project in upcoming contexts.

HYPERMASK + AVANTGARDEN
Hello everyone, I just finished a new HYPERMASK video.
It’s a playground of synthetic evolution and weird digital “portraits,” where identity bends, mutates, and slips between humor and glitchy desire.
Also a small update: my AvantGarden work is currently shown at the Prima Materia pavilion at the Wrong Biennale, curated by Xristina Sarli with Top Lab, Berlin.
