ONENESS

Author’s avatars — self-portraits as ethereal clones — carry traces of different species, reimagined as synthetic entities within new ecologies.

The resampling of biological memory in ONENESS is an act of care. These digital morphologies are composed from the living continuum of the planet — coral polyps, fungi, cephalopods, mycelial threads, plankton, deep-sea bioluminescent beings, bats, pangolins, and microbial intelligences such as bacteria and viruses. Their features emerge through synthetic synthesis, performing empathy as method — sensing the world through the memory of other forms.

Through these hybrid anatomies, the work proposes a new kind of interspecies intimacy between systems of perception. Every reassembled fragment becomes a signal of continuity, a reminder that forms migrate, recombine, and adapt across time and material.

These entities act as poetic prototypes for a post-anthropocentric future — where imagination, rather than extraction, becomes the key ecological gesture.

ONENESS is about relinking sensitivity: the ability to feel across boundaries, materials, and timelines. The avatars become resonant carriers of coexistence — sensing, remembering, and reconfiguring the fragile, luminous networks of life that sustain the world we share.
