ONENESS

ONENESS stages self portraits as synthetic avatars that open the sovereignty of the human subject to include the Other. These figures are constructed as composite organisms, built from interspecies memory and rendered as entities within speculative ecological systems.

The work resamples biological material as data and form. The morphologies of coral polyps, fungi, cephalopods, mycelial networks, plankton, deep sea organisms, bats, pangolins, bacteria, and viruses are computationally translated and reassembled into digital anatomies. Empathy is continuously attempted through structural alignment across species.

ONENESS rejects the human as the central measure of value. The avatars destabilize anthropocentric hierarchy by redistributing perception across multiple biological logics. Identity becomes a temporary configuration within a larger continuum of living systems.

These entities function as models for a post anthropocentric condition in which coexistence replaces dominance. The work constructs interdependence and cohabitation as material conditions rather than ideals.

ONENESS positions sensitivity as infrastructure. To feel across species, substrates, and temporal scales is a survival strategy. The avatars operate as synthetic carriers of this position, holding together fragile planetary networks.
